Dental Floss
Peri-dent have been manufacturing floss and tape products for over 40 years, offering a wide range of solutions to suit different interdental spaces, levels of gum sensitivity, and consumer preference.
Our floss products are manufactured using yarns made from multiple individual fibres, often twisted together to create different constructions and performance characteristics. By varying the filament types and constructions, we can produce flosses tailored to specific consumer needs, including enhanced flavour impact and softer textures for sensitive or tender gums. This combination delivers a unique cleaning experience, leaving the mouth feeling clean and fresh.
String floss is typically suited to people with standard to wide gaps between the teeth and is usually made using a multifilament construction.
Available in a wide selection of flavours, including Mint, Menthol, and Spearmint, alongside fruity options such as Coconut, Watermelon, Mango, Lemon, and many more.
The main active ingredients used in our floss products include Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Bicarbonate, CPC, Tetrasodium Diphosphate, and Xylitol.
Dental Tape
Dental tape has a flat, smooth surface that glides easily between teeth, making it particularly suitable for people with narrow or tight spaces. However, its wider, shred-resistant design also allows it to be effective for people with larger gaps, as it can cover more tooth surface compared with traditional string floss. It is typically made using a monofilament construction, which helps it resist fraying and improve durability during use.
